Falafel originated in the Middle East and has now spread to all continents, thousands and thousands of falafel servings are sold daily all over the world.
Unlike other falafels in the market place Larderfresh have recently improved the recipe by cooking with rice bran oil. This reduces the fat content (by 4%) and does not produce the trans fatty acids and other toxins. The rice bran is a potent antioxidant, it can dramatically lower the levels of LDL cholesterol and is rich in Vitamin E.

We use only fresh vegetables, herbs and spices, and our falafel are quick fried so as to form a crust that ensures minimal oil absorption.
